Max Potential Showcase

Max Potential Showcase 22 August 2019

Henry Kendall High School Year 11 students Holly Miller and Sarah Wade have now completed their 22 week long Max Potential scholarship program at Gosford RSL.

About Max Potential

Over 10 years, Max Potential has developed an enviable reputation as a world-class coaching program, making an impact across city and regional NSW. Max Potential connects emerging young leaders (aged 16 – 23 years old) with local community leaders as volunteer coaches. The program runs over five months with one-on-one coaching, workshops and a focus on delivering community service projects to make a difference in the local region. It was created in partnership with the Clubs peak industry association - ClubsNSW - and is supported by not-for-profit registered Clubs throughout NSW. There is also significant support from local business, community, media and all levels of government – including speeches of support in Parliament.

The Showcase held at Gosford RSL on the 22nd of August was the opportunity for all the students involved to celebrate the end of the program and their community service projects.  Holly collected personal care items under "Packages for Patients" which were donated to Gosford Hospital.  Sarah supported the RSPCA with a focus on items for and possible adoption of the dogs the RSPCA currently has in its care.

Sarah and Holly have also prepared a media release about the Max Potential experience and Holly's refection has been attached.

Congratulations to both Sarah and Holly on their efforts and contributions to our community.
