Warm Up Wednesday

Written by Mrs Tresize

“Warm up Wednesday”, held on August 9th , provided an opportunity for our students to empathise with those in our community who may experiencing hardship in our cold winter months. Students“rugged up” in their warmest clothes and suffered through no heating in their classrooms.

They also donated large amounts of easily heated goods such as soup and noodles to help “warm up” those who regularly experience extreme cold and may not have the luxury of heating or even cooking!

A great deal of fun was had as students donned their favourite beanies, hoodies, scarves and gloves! A large amount of goods was donated and gratefully received by a representative from The Salvation Army, who will distribute them to those most in need.

Our generosity and dress-up even landed us in the Sunraysia Daily!
