An Evening with ACOS

We are in the middle of an incredibly busy week for many students in Upper Division as we participate in An Evening with ACOS. Today, our students performed in the performer's performance and tomorrow night they will perform at the official event at a packed out hall of nearly 800 people.  Our students are involved in the ACOS (Armidale Community of Schools) Choir, Orchestra and Aboriginal Dance Group.  Thank you to every student who has worked hard to learn and prepare for this week's event.  This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to be a part of a professional creative arts extravaganza.  I sincerely thank Leah Miller for her work in preparing our students and transporting them for rehearsals and for attending regular meetings.  We will publish some photos in our next newsletter!

Just a reminder to those students performing tomorrow night, please be at Uralla Central School between 4.00-4.15 tomorrow afternoon for pizza before catching the bus to Armidale Secondary College.

If students who are performing wish to wear mufti tomorrow to school, to ensure their uniform is ready for tomorrow night, this is perfectly fine.

Also, to our parents, please remember that parking is going to be a serious issue, so please consider arriving early.  Students need to be collected from the courtyard area under the building with the letter "D" above it.  You will see our school banner!

Please see below further information for those performing:

School Badges

We have new school badges for sale at our office. The cost for each badge is $10.00 This is to cover design, production and postage costs. All students and their families are welcome to purchase these from the office.

Thanks Kevin!

A big shout out to Kevin Northey who has gone above and beyond to create a new seat for our bus students while waiting each afternoon. The seat is made out of the old telegraph pole which was located just outside the fence before it was removed! It even has the pole number on it.  Thanks so much for your hard work and kind donation Kevin.
