Premier's Spelling Bee Regional Finals

On Friday, 18th August, 2023 our school participated in the Premier's Spelling Bee Regional Finals via Zoom.

Vanessa (Junior Competition) and Adam (Senior Competition) proudly represented St Johns Park Public School against other schools in the region.

It was a tough competition with both our students spelling words from the unseen list! Both students, Miss S. Ta and I were on the edge of our seats as the rounds continued.

In the end, Vanessa was runner up for the Junior Competition and Adam tied in 5th place for the Senior Competition. Congratulations to both students for their phenomenal performance. In the event that the winner of the Junior Competition does not attend the Premier's Spelling Bee State Competition, Vanessa will be invited to represent our region.

We are looking forward to another year of the Premier's Spelling Bee Competition in 2024.
