Last Weekend

Students took advantage of the pleasant weather last weekend with lots of action on the mountain bike track.

Saturday everyone spent the morning enjoying all the vehicles at the Geographe Motor Museum in Bunbury.  From all reports, there was a lot of admiration and car envy.

Before returning to the College students went to the cinema to watch Mission Impossible, before venturing back to the College. In the evening many students played spotlight around the grounds with some very creative hiding spots.

Sunday morning some students took the opportunity of a shopping trip to Eaton Fair to stock up supplies.

Rain, Rain and more Rain

Wednesday evening saw some very heavy and consistent rainfall over an extended period of time making it difficult for any outdoor activities.

New Initiative - Dorm Challenges

However, thanks to Sally students were able to engage in a 'Dorm Challenge'. This is a new concept and puts dorm against dorm for a weekly challenge.  This week the challenge was to get as many students as practical into a dorm photo; plus there was additional scoring if they got a % of dorm occupants, the photo must contain a reso supervisor, a ball, blue objects, a flower and all people giving thumbs up.

The week's challenge winner was Tallanalla Dorm.

Each week’s challenge will be scored against the criteria set, with the scores being tallied and the winning dorm at the end of the term will be awarded.

Travel Day

Just a reminder with the College Ball on Friday 18th August, it will be a pupil-free day allowing the students to get themselves ready for the night. Therefore, students will finish on Thursday 17th August at 2.25 pm

We will ensure commitments to the South West Coach and the Australind train service on the Thursday will occur. Can we also ask that if possible, all students are off-site by 5.00 pm? If this is not possible, please contact me directly.
