Naidoc Week Mass

We celebrated NAIDOC Week with a Mass last week. Our Fire Carrier students led the school in this Mass. The theme for NAIDOC Week this year was 'For Our Elders'. 

Our school choir also learnt 'From Little Things, Big Things Grow' by Paul Kelly for NAIDOC Week. Their video is linked below.

5/6 Mass

Today the 5/6 students celebrated a class mass they planned last term around the theme of Natural Disasters as part of their Geography and Connection units.

Mini Vinnies

Mini Vinnies are planning a drive to collect items to give to those who need them when the St A's staff head out on the JPC Companion Van when they need it.

At the assembly on Friday, they will present this to the school. Each year level will be assigned to a particular item and we will collect these for the weeks leading up to the Companion Van date. Students are also looking at ways we can have a location within our school where we can have donations and collections come in to pass on to JPC.

Stewardship - Care for our common home

This Term all year levels are learning about the concept of Stewardship and how as Catholics we are entrusted by God to be stewards of the earth. This means we look after and show respect for all creation.
