Term 3 Week 2

Welcome back to a chilly start for term 3 ! We have hit the ground running this term and can hardly believe we are half way through the year already.

Thank you for all your support and specially to my wonderful team on the ground at the service whilst I took a four week break over the holidays to visit my family overseas. It was very much needed and I have come back refreshed and ready to go ! :)

Vacation Care despite being service based was really popular and booked up quickly. As usual we are already planning next Vacation and it is a big one !

It will be open for bookings on Friday 25th August at 9am for current enrolments and Monday 28th August for new families.

We have a few new faces at Before and After school care. In the kitchen we have the lovely Maddi who has been an exciting addition as she is our new chef ! She has already made some yummy additions to breakfast and afternoon tea and will be running our cooking and baking on Wednesday afternoons !

What have we been up to in the last two weeks?

In the last two weeks we have enjoyed so many amazing activities at Before and After school year. Last week we had a holiday recap and shared some of our favourite activities. We also took part in some NAIDOC week activities. This year's theme for NAIDOC week is 'for our elders'.

Across every generation, our Elders have played, and continue to play, an important role and hold a prominent place in our communities and families (description from the NAIDOC website).

Some of the activities included rainbow clouds and NAIDOC bookmarks, Elephant toothpaste experiment, Making chocolate truffles and a ping pong tournament.
