Today we celebrated National Pyjama Day!   This event was to support, and help raise funds and awareness for children in foster care. The students and staff got really involved in this event and it was great to see the majority of our community wearing their favourite and comfiest PJ's, onesies, slippers, and dressing gowns to school!  So many happy smiles on the faces of our students!  We were able to raise $300.00.  Thank you for supporting this great cause and event!  #InMyPJs and #PyjamaDay2023

Yesterday some of our Grade 5/6 students took on the challenge of participating in the AFL Northern Penninsula Division Championship at Red Hill Recreation Reserve!  What an achievement to make it this far for our students.  The students played an incredible match under coach Mr. Todd and tried their very best.  Unfortunately, they didn't walk away with the win, however, they should all be proud of their sportsmanship

On Monday our whole school came together to participate in a NAIDOC Week Mass. NAIDOC Week is a very important and significant event where celebrations are held around Australia in July to celebrate and educate Australians about the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.  The 2023 National NAIDOC Week theme was ' For Our Elders' and recognises the important role Elders have played, and continue to play, an in their communities and families.

Our students also participated in some cultural games and activities organized by our student Fire Carriers.

Have a fabulous weekend. Stay warm!

God Bless and show Grace
