Principal's Page

Dear Families,

Time flies when you are having fun, learning lots, attending community events, participating in sporting activities, travelling for excursions and being engaged during incursions.

What another big term we have had here at St Joseph's?

Everyday Matters

Student  school attendance data for the first half of this year has displayed a significant improvement from last year. Thank you for supporting this parents.

Reports

Semester One Reports were published on Monday afternoon. Please check your Operoo notifications and emails for instructions on how to access the reports. Please contact your child's teachers if you have any questions regarding the reports and/or would like to make a time to discuss them further. Please contact the office if you require assistance accessing the reports.

Students in Years 3 - 6 have created a Google Site (ePortfolio) with the goal of sharing their learning growth with their families. Our Prep to Year Two students have been sharing their learning with families through the Seesaw communication platform.

Welcome

Welcome Knox (Year One) and his family to the St Joseph's School Community.

Ciao

The whole school gathered yesterday to thank  Signora Varrenti and wish her all the very best  for her retirement.

Best Wishes

We wish the Witter family Tarryn, David, Ethan -  Year 2 and Charlotte - Prep all the very best for their new adventures in Queensland.

2024 Prep Enrolments

Letters of Offer for 2024 Prep students are being sent out this week.  If you are planning to enrol a student for prep next year, or know someone who is, please encourage them to collect and submit an enrolment form shortly.

Lice

We are aware of some cases of lice in the school. The school holidays is a fantastic circuit breaker, so please check your child/children's hair and treat if needed.

Long Service Leave

I am presently on leave as I have taken a few days long service leave this week to travel to sunny Queensland. Please contact Megan Barber if you have any questions or concerns in my absence.

We wish Jane Byrne safe travels as she heads to Shetland for Term Three and all other community members who are travelling these holidays.

I hope you all enjoy your holidays and find time to relax and unwind as well as create some wonderful memories.

I look forward to seeing you all on Monday 10 July for an action packed Term Three.

Many thanks,

Monica
