Congratulations to these boys on their win! #GoNodders

VCE PhysEd. VO2max Testing

In yesterday's VCE Physical Education 3&4 class, students participated in VO2max testing, thanks to METS Performance Consulting — pushing their limits through cardio exercises and breathing analysis.

The test aims to measure oxygen utilisation during intense exercise, giving personalised insight into their athletic capabilities and a better understanding of cardiovascular fitness.

VCE Drama Excursion - Moth

Last Friday the Year 12 Drama class went to see a production of Moth at Theatreworks in St Kilda. This production is part of the VCAA playlist for 2023.

After a big feed of Subway, the students experienced a strange yet engaging night of theatre.

Erupting onstage like an action-packed graphic-novel fiction fantasy, Moth is a visceral scream to the Gods of injustice. Mental illness. Religious zeal. Anime. This is a highly charged rapid-fire and deeply moving production. An exhilarating two-hander brought to life by two dynamic actors, Moth is a love letter to every teen, and to those who used to be.

Gems in STEM

A big thanks to CMP Consulting Group for taking the time yesterday to encourage our Year 10 students to consider a potential career in STEM.

CMP's Gems In STEM Program is a wonderful initiative to combat the crisis regarding the STEM skill shortage across the nation, and its commitment to fostering curiosity and empowering the next generation is remarkable.
