WORK EXPERIENCE
Work experience is the short-term placement of students with employers to provide insights into the industry and the workplace in which they are located. Students are encouraged to organise their own work experience placement early so that they have the greatest chance of securing their place of choice.
- It provides students with the valuable opportunity to:
- Develop employability skills.
- Explore possible career options.
- Understand employer expectations.
- Increase their self-understanding, maturity, independence, and self-confidence

ST HILDA'S COLLEGE PRESENTATION
St Hilda's College is a college of The University of Melbourne, providing a residential community for students from all parts of regional Victoria, interstate and overseas. One of our past students, Ethan Prescott is now a student at St Hilda’s College and is coming to speak to Year 12 students about life in Melbourne, the University of Melbourne, and what his experience has been since coming to college from Mildura.

THE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE
It is important to consider your accommodation options when moving away from home for university. University College (UC) is one of the ten residential colleges situated near the University of Melbourne.
They also accept students from other nearby universities.
They will be visiting to speak about the College experience, the benefits of College life, how to choose the right college for you, the application process, scholarship opportunities and answer any questions you may have.
