Year 5/6 Lightning Premiership Netball and Football

Congratulations to all our Year 5 and 6 students who participated in the Netball and Football Lightning Premierships.

St Columba's had 4 teams complete on the netball day. All teams did their very best. We saw some amazing skills and a big improvement from many since the beginning of the winter sports season. 3 of our teams made it into the Grand Finals which is an outstanding achievement. An exceptional effort from our Girls A team who won the competition and now move onto the Beachside Competition on Wednesday 19th July. We wish them all the very best! Go St Columba's! Thank you to Laura Harris who took time out of her day off to coach and support one of our Year 5 teams.

Our football team had a wonderful sunny day out together at the Football Lightning Premiership. They played against schools we hadn't encountered on the Friday afternoon games who were strong teams. Our team played their best and we also saw many amazing goals and skills from team St Columba's. The team supported each other, cheered on other teams, and congratulated the winners by cheering for them. Thank you to Harry who was an awesome Captain.

Cross Country

Our running superstar Maya L competed at the Regional Cross Country recently and received 10th place in the 11 Girls age group! This is an incredible achievement. Maya L will now move onto the State Cross Country Championships. Go Maya, we are so proud of you!
