Gardening

We had a small but powerful turn out for our garden working bee. Aviva was the task master and had us all pruning, digging, moving bricks, logs and shovelling rock gravel for our new ground cover. The cleaned up propagation station will give students a pleasant and more organised place to garden. The plan is for Aviva to teach seed raising and propagation from our First Nations garden.

Thank you to Thomas Colgrave and his two boys August and Rigby who were incredible enthusiasm and garden know how.

Also Holly and her daughter Arkie. Holly did an incredible job cleaning out and sprint out the green house.

Kristen and her daughter Nellie. Kristen was a champion at laying out and evening out the rock gravel.

Nick Moore, parent of Maggie and Rosie, a seed raising expert and an incredible worker on the day, is a great support to  Aviva and the whole garden program.

Also thank you to  Doug and his wife Susie. Both have such drive and energy to get the job done. Doug was a powerhouse with the shovel as Sue was with weeding everything in her path and then she sweeped it all clean!

What a day!!!
