Koonung Capital Works Program 

Construction works have commenced! 

The first sod has been turned and Paul Hamer MP was in attendance to celebrate the occasion. The College has been hive of activity  with the removal and relocation of portables and the demolition of the lower gym building to make way for our new Years 7 - 9 building. The construction site has provided both staff and students with much entertainment during recess and lunch as we witness classrooms being relocated with cranes. 

WE aim to keep disruption to our students and staff to an absolute minimum during the build and have needed to be very creative in identifying suitable spaces for teaching and learning during this time, particularly while the portables were being relocated. 

Creative classrooms (while the portables were being relocated) included outdoors, conference room and the social staffroom....
