Dear Parent & Friends,
Last night we were fortunate enough to hold our first meeting for 2021. It was exciting to see new faces join our meeting and to be able to welcome our new St Mary’s Principal Mrs Bern Feldman. Mrs Feldman gave us a great insight into the exciting changes that will be happening at St Mary’s. The P&F are looking forward to a long and fruitful association with Mrs Feldman and excited by the Principals vision for the college.
DEB BALL
On the agenda was the possibility of rescheduling the 2020 Deb Ball as well as organising a possible date for the 2021 Deb Ball. If restrictions ease and the timeframe works we may be able to host two Balls. Currently, Covid restrictions are still in place and hosting a Ball would mean no dancing and very limited numbers.
We will be advising the girls when more information comes to hand.
MEETING CHANGES
The P&F have decided to change general meetings from monthly to once a term with each term meeting now being held on Tuesday night Week 4. Meetings will also start to include various information sessions that are of interest to our families including student well-being, tweens, teens and screens. We welcome any ideas on presentations that you would be interested in.
JOLLY BIG RAFFLE
A big thank you to all who supported our Christmas raffle at the end of last year. The raffle was fully funded by the P&F and we were absolutely thrilled with the result, raising just shy of $12000 for our schools... amazing!!
