Message from the Principal

Today we celebrate as a community our student's Athletic skills. Our Twilight Sports will commence at 5pm sharp. We look forward to seeing you all there.

We are excited to launch our new Website https://www.sjmitcham.catholic.edu.au/

Our redesign is very engaging and reflects the dynamic teaching and learning, state of the art facilities and the redevelopment of our play and leraning spaces. Please take a look and share the link with your family and friends.

Year 6 Camp

Last week our Year 6 students attended a 3 day Camp at The Briars in Mount Martha. With a focus on Team building and resilience our students participated in a variety of challenging tasks and activities. The students favourite activities were the Giant Swing, Gaga Ball and the Beach Day activities. They were extremely well behaved and made the most of the new challenges and experiences. I am very grateful to Mr Brown, Mrs Pattison, Julie and Monica, for supporting the students at the Camp. 

Summer Uniform 

This week staff will be ensuring that all students are wearing the correct uniform. Please note that everyone should be wearing navy blue socks with their black school shoes and white socks only on their allocated PE days.

Twilight Sports

As part of the St John's Physical Education curriculum and program all students participate in the Athletics events, to learn new skills and experience the facilities of a professional athletics track. Thank-you to all of the parents who are able to help with the many jobs at the Twilight Sports tonight. Your time and energy is greatly appreciated. 

Enrolments for 2022

Enrolments are now open for Prep 2022. If you have a younger child who is ready to begin school next year, please complete your enrolment form and hand it in at the office or email it to me. Please let your neighbours and friends know also.

School Banking

The School Banking Program will resume this Wednesday 3 March 2021. Please see the Community News page for more details. 

School Fees and Levies

2021 School Fees and Levies were sent home last week with the eldest student in each family. All fees and levies for the year are included on the invoice. Please contact Jenny in the office if you have any questions or would like to set up a direct debit.
