Canteen

Hi everyone

I hope you all enjoyed a restful long weekend and managed to spend some family time in the sunshine.

 

Celebrating Special Occasions:

Did you know that the Canteen can provide your child with a Birthday and Special Occasion Bucket to share with classmates? Birthday Buckets are delivered to classrooms and contain a fruit based, frozen Icypole tube for each class member . These are a healthy and fun option for sharing.

Birthday and Special Occasion Buckets cost $15 per class (regardless of the number of students) and can be ordered through My School Connect under the Extras tab.

 

Term 2 Roster:

HELP! I need extra helpers for Term 2 (particularly on Fridays). If you, or a family member are available, even just once or twice a term, please email me ASAP at: wendy.schilling@education.vic.gov.au

Unfortunately, without extra help I will not able to continue to offer the number of healthy, homemade options currently on the menu.

 

Athletics Carnival Pop-up Canteen:

As in previous years, Canteen will provide a Pop-up stall at the school Athletics Carnival. Snacks, icy poles and drinks will be provided ranging in price from 50c - $2. No online orders will be available on the day - cash only please.

 

Easter Morning Tea:

Canteen will be holding our annual 'Easter Morning Tea' on Thursday 1st April. Orders are now live on MSC and need to be finalised before 9.30am on Wed 24th March. 

Please remember - no green thumbs up - no order!

I would love some help on the day between 8.45-11am. Please either add your details to the roster on My School Volunteer, or contact me through the email address above. 

All helpers will receive a delicious Hot Cross Bun with a tea or coffee.

 

Volunteer of the Week:

This week I would like to acknowledge Troy Kinslow who continues to volunteer in the canteen even though his daughter has moved onto High School (and is now in year 10!) Thanks Troy for the kindness you show to the students at the window. I know they really enjoy seeing you there.
