2021 Instrumental Tuition

Over the coming week our tutors will be placing stickers in student diaries which will list details of each of their individual speech and/or drama or instrumental lessons. The stickers will list the day and time of their lesson, name of tutor and room in which the lesson takes place. This will allow students and teachers (including casual teachers) to easily track when students are out of the classroom. Your child will be asked to take their student diary to their lessons this week.

Assembly Performances

Please enjoy the following performances.

Week 7 – Georgie Simpson on piano playing “Boogie Woogie Rock”

Week 7 – Thomas Hunt on saxophone playing “2 Cool 4 Skool”

If your child would like to perform in an upcoming assembly, please encourage them to seek assistance from their tutor to prepare a performance piece. This is also open to students taking speech and drama tuition.

Classroom Music – Year 6 Performances

As always, there is lots going on in the music classroom. For the past few weeks Year 6 have been working on their performance assessments using a variety of folksongs from other countries. Here are a few for you to enjoy.

Livvy Taylor & Bell Clinton performing their very energetic body percussion routine to a folksong from the Virgin Islands called ‘Four White Horses’.
