Victorian Challenge and Enrichment Series Term 1 Writer’s Workshop

On March the 1st, 12 students participated in a writer’s workshop which focused on creating Fractured Fairy Tales using a digital platform. Students were shown how to take ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ and create a fractured fairytale that diverted from the original in various ways. Using the Metaverse app students created a digital storyboard which could be played as a choose your own adventure. Students were engaged throughout the workshop and produced a variety of different and interesting versions of Little Red Riding Hood.

The writer’s workshop was a great experience for me. I really enjoyed the different style of learning and it was really fun. It was a creative way to write stories and it allowed us to bring our imagination into it as well.
