Year 7 Camp

Alexandra Adventure Resort

Alexandra Adventure Resort

The Year 7 students attended the Alexandra Adventure Resort on 17th March for three fun filled days.   Below are some of the student's comments and photos of their time at the resort.

I went to Alexandra adventure resort on the 17th of March 2021. The camp site looked very adventurous and very fun I had a very good time it was good to go away with my friends and learn more about them, whether their scared of heights, their abilities in sports and other cool activities. I learned a bit more about Basketball, Jenga, Gaga Ball and Ping Pong.

My favourite activity would have to be the giant swing or canoeing because at the giant swing you can see the view of the mountains and all of the farm animals but all of a sudden you just drop, and you start swinging it was just so fun. I like how in this camp we had a lot of time to relax, talk to our cabin mates, play a game with them or sport and just enjoy ourselves. Through this camp I found out that I wasn’t really scared of heights or swimming.

Camp was an amazing experience for me because we were in  cabins with our friends, and I also made new friends from my cabin.  I enjoyed the food that they served. Some of the foods were baked potato, pasta bake and pancakes & eggs. The activities were very fun especially the giant swing and the low initiatives.  When we had spare time  some of the girls  and me in my cabin would either walk around or sit around and talk.

On the first night we watched How To Train Your Dragon 3 and the next day we watched Wonder. Camp was three days long but it never got boring we always had something to do. Thank you to all the teachers for coming along.
