Biz - E - Kidz Update
Pick up and Drop Off Traffic Management
Due to recent issues with traffic congestion around the school, we ask that families park in surrounding streets and walk the short distance to the Biz – E - Kidz gate.
If you do need to drive to the gate, please ensure the following:
- Slow down
- Do not double park next to another car
- Do not stop in a ‘no standing’ zone
- Do not park and leave your car in a ‘no parking’ zone (this includes our ‘kiss and drop’ zones on Murphy Street)
- Do not park in the limited disabled parking spaces around the school unless you have a permit for these spaces
Biz - E - Kidz and the teachers are doing their best to educate students on road safety, including not dashing out onto the road, however, we ask that families can also reiterate this message to their children at home.
Biz – E – Kidz will be contacting the Melbourne City Council for further possible solutions including signage and penalties for illegal parking.
Together with following the above rules, we can ensure Biz – E – Kidz and NMPS are a safe places for everyone.
Notifications of COVID-19
A reminder to families to please contact Biz - E - Kidz to let us know if your child tests positive for COVID-19 within 2 days of being at Biz - E - Kidz.
Important points:
- Due to privacy reasons, the school is not allowed to inform us of the identity of individual cases.
- Biz - E - Kidz is required to make a separate notification to the community and department of education of positive cases
- Biz - E - Kidz will not charge for care missed because of the isolation required due to being a positive case
