STATE REPRESENTATIVES

MATTHEW DODDS (YEAR 9 BARLOW)

Congratulations to Zoe Moore (Year 10 Thu Duc) who spent the last weekend of Term 1 proudly representing WA Surf Life Saving Club Trigg Island at The Australian Surf Life Saving Championships ('The Aussies') on the Gold Coast.

Zoe competed in U15 events for boards, ironperson, cameron relay, board rescue and board relay. A highlight for Zoe was placing 4th in the board relay with her two team mates. Zoe was the first paddler and gained great pace - handing over to her team mate in 2nd place. Well done!

JAMES NEAL (YEAR 10 NORMANDY) SETS NEW PERSONAL BESTS AT THE AUSTRALIAN AGE SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Congratulations to James Neal (Year 10 Normandy) who also represented WA and his swimming club at the Australian Age Swimming Championships held in Adelaide, SA during the school holidays.

This event was live-streamed by Amazon Prime and held in the same pool that many Olympic trials are held in.

James competed in the Boys 15 competition and qualified for four events - 200m and 400m Individual Medley and 50m and 200m Backstroke. James set some great new personal bests and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of swimming at a national level. Congratulations!
