Annual General Meeting
We held our Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Ormond Primary School's Parents and Friends Association (P&F) on Tuesday 8th March. We’re pleased to advise the following roles were elected:
- Convenor – Heather Hoken
- Co-convener – Kath Spencer
- Secretary – Jacquie Warfe
- Treasurer – Emily Mulcahy
- Communications – Kath Spencer & Jana Hain
- Class Rep Coordinator – Amy Ashford
We were also very excited to see a number of new faces at our monthly P&F meeting and we look forward to the expertise and excitement they all bring.
We also want to take the opportunity to thank the 2021 P&F Committee for their valuable service and give our heartfelt appreciation for the time and effort they put into setting up and running events for the school. We have received some lovely feedback from families about the events we were able to run last year and we look forward to a less restricted 2022 with a few favourite events being back on the schedule.
Easter Raffle
This year we will again be running the Easter Raffle. We know the kids are very excited about this one. Tickets will go on sale 15 March to 7th April. Students will have a casual day on Friday 1st April where they can donate Easter eggs to fill the hampers.
This year we’ll be using an online platform for the purchase of tickets. Raffle tickets are $2 each and the proceeds will go to the Astroturf replacement fund. Head to the link to buy your tickets from Tuesday 15 March https://rafflelink.com.au/ops2022easterraffle
Winners will be announced at the end of term assembly on Friday 8th April and get to take their fabulous hampers home for the holidays.

Upcoming Events
Mother’s Day Coffee Van – Friday 6th May
To say thanks for their love and support, there will be a Coffee Van providing FREE drinks for OPS Mums, Step-Mums, Grandmas/Special Person from 730am-930am. We encourage you to come a grab a coffee and then your child can show you their classroom (Classrooms will be open 8.00-8.45am)
WALKATHON – Tuesday May 17th
The long awaited return of the Walk-a-thon is near! Mark Tuesday 17th May in your calendars and get ready for some serious fundraising and fun!

Parent Comedy Night
The Parent Comedy Night from 2021 is now rescheduled to go ahead on Wednesday 25th May. The link to purchase your tickets will be available again shortly.
