Cocurricular dance – term 2
We are excited to see strong numbers for our Jitterbugs Dance class beginning next Monday (Week 2). We are looking for some more students to join our Year 5-6 Upbeats Group. If your child is interested in joining, please follow the link below ASAP or contact Mrs Sinclair directly.

What to wear
Students should wear their sports uniform but will dance in bare feet. Students in Upbeats will be permitted to wear their sport uniform to school and then change into their normal uniform at recess.
Students may be required to purchase a costume for some of our performances. Costumes will be sourced by the teacher and the total will be added to the student account. This is usually around $30.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals will begin in Week 1 for Upbeats and Week 2 for Jitterbugs and will continue to Week 9. Please note there will be no rehearsal for Jitterbugs in Week 9 due to the long weekend.

Koristers – Performance Opportunity
Orange Uniting Church will be having a special celebration service on Sunday the 15th of May at 10.00 am to mark the conservation work and refurbishment of the church that has been taking place over the last two years. Koristers has been asked to perform an item during the service, which will be attended by the Moderator of the Synod, and as well as other Synod and community representatives.
This will be a wonderful opportunity to support this event and share our music with the wider community. However, it’s important that we have a core group of members that can perform. Please could you follow the link below to notify whether your child is able to attend. Students would need to arrive at 9.50am and we anticipate the service should be about one hour.
