Mrs Mellissa Bell

What a busy start to the term! We have had the Diocesean Cross Country, ANZAC commemorative services and school photos already, and it is just the end of Week 2. It has been a real pleasure getting into classes and seeing how settled our students are across the school. Currently our teachers are working together with students, preparing to write end of semester reports this term. Students in Stages 4 and 5 will begin preparing for Student Led Conferencing, choosing work samples, writing reflections on the work and building a portfolio to bring to the table to discuss as evidence of their learning, identifying their strengths and also some areas for further growth.

As the cooler weather begins to creep up on us, it is important to support our students in ensuring that they are in the correct winter uniform. The College expectations for the formal uniform is as follows:

All students are to wear their blazer to and from school and into PAC.

Students are not to wear their Hoodie under their blazer, the hoodie is to be worn with the sports uniform only.

Sports uniform is to be worn on the days when there is a practical PE/sport lesson only.

Boys are expected to wear a tie with their shirts.

Girls are able to wear blue stockings/tights.

The sports jacket may be worn on cold days over the woollen jumper and under a blazer.

Tamworth Family Referral Services (TFSS) are hosting a FREE ONLINE event that is open

to any who is keen to hear from one of Australia’s leading parent educators, Steve Biddulph. Steve is the author of the best selling book, Raising Boys. This online seminar is a pre-recorded seminar and has been described by some participants as life-changing.

Target audience: anyone raising boys - from babies to young adults. Steve will share his research and wisdom. It is guaranteed to be a session with a powerful message, yet there will be many unforgettably moving, funny and practical advice. He will explore the topics of emotions, the role of a significant male figure, the stages of development from young boy to adulthood, and how to get boys involved in housework. See the flyer for registration details.
