2022 National Careers Week – Career! It’s more than just a Job.

National Careers Week (NCW) (16 – 22 May) aims to celebrate careers, career development and promote the economic, social and personal benefits of career development.

Everyday decisions and priorities affect career development. Career development is about much more than jobs – it is about how to live your life.

In my role I often come across students (and some parents) questioning the value of school’s contribution to life roles and career pathways. The included Information Sheets School: What’s the point? and Parents as Career supporters might provide some food for thought….

There are a whole host of other resources and info sheets which relate to interviews, planning and maximising career outcomes which are well worth a look. https://careersweek.com.au/resources/
