Remembering Nano
In this moment...
We remember Nano
looking around and listening carefully to what is happening for others and for the earth in our own “small corner of the yearning world”
We remember Nano
allowing the hurt and hardship to disturb us and drive us to help life lift itself up and shine its own light,
fully and freely
We remember Nano
changing direction to be true to ourselves
and our own heart’s leading
We remember Nano
letting go of comfort, certainty and security to share the good that life has offered us
We remember Nano
overcoming obstacles that prevent us from responding adequately to need
We remember Nano
coming close enough to share our stories
and gently touch and tend each other’s wounds
We remember Nano
embraced by the love of family and the companionship of community growing stronger, and more ourselves, together
We remember Nano
energised by the ever-active Love that we call God
We remember Nano
connecting with people around the world, Presentation people, one community, us, reaching out “in faith,
in a spirit of hospitality, compassion and simplicity to all of creation”
God of here and now, of always and everywhere
May we be energised by Nano’s faith, courage and commitment to people and life, striving in our living and learning together to create a just, healthy and harmonious world.
Amen

STAFF SPIRITUALITY DAY
On Monday 24 April Staff returned to their Spirituality Day which was a day on Country. The theme of the day was “Yindymarra” which means “Respect, Be Gentle, Be Polite & Go Slowly”. The day was a huge success and allowed Staff to explore the physical and spiritual relationship between land and Indigenous people. It also helped Staff to gain an understanding of local sites and their significance to the Wiradjuri people. A huge thanks to Jason Jolley who enabled the day to be possible.
YEAR 9 REFLECTION DAY
Next Friday is the Year 9 Reflection Day. The boy’s day is facilitated by College Staff, Year 11 Boys and ‘Goodfellas’, presenting sessions that focus on being good men. The girl’s day is facilitated by College Staff, Year 11 Girls and ‘Enlighten Education’, presenting sessions that focus on beliefs and values in relation to self-concept, caring for self and protective behaviours. Please see attached permission note.

Mr Michael Ryan, Mr Jason Jolley and a small selection of Year 10 and Year 11 students are heading to Warrambui for the Justice Matters Camp next week. The theme for the camp is: Dignity is Priceless. What is the cost? We keep students and staff in our prayers and thoughts.
GREEN TEAM
The Green Team will complete gardening work for clients of Saint Vincent de Paul. It’s aim is to be active members within our community, supporting those most in need. An opportunity for volunteer training through Vinnies will be held this term. After the training, the team can then complete gardening work such as pruning, mowing, planting, weeding etc.
Could you help out? Please see the attached poster created by Carly Salmon for information on how you might be able to lend us a hand.
