Hampstead Primary Governing Council
Dear families,
The Governing Council is an important opportunity for interested family members to have input into the direction of the school. Governing councils work with the site leader (principal or director) to help set and monitor the direction of a site.
A governing council meets regularly to talk about the direction for the site. The timing of meetings can be different for each site, but it’s no less than twice a term.
If you feel that you might be interested, then you can nominate to become a member of the Council.
Hampstead Primary will be holding its Annual General Meeting at 2.00 pm in the PAC on Monday, May 9th. All family members are invited to attend and it is not only for prospective Governing Council members.
If you are unavailable to attend but would like to be on Governing Council, you can fill out the attached Nomination forms and either send it back digitally to our principal, Joy (joy.keddie112@schools.sa.edu.au) or in hard copy form to the front office. There is also a short survey about preferred meeting times here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LKN6HWB
Kind regards,
Graham Wegner, Deputy Principal
