Cyber Safety

At Windang Public School we take the safety of our students very seriously and this includes their safety online. The eSafety commissioner website has many resources for educators, students and parents to deal with the complex problems that can and do occur online.

Stage 3 will be working through some of the units about cyber safety this term in class. The units will including 'The Internet and the Law' as students heading into high school should be aware of legal responsibilities for young people when choosing to behave inappropriately online. 

We suggest all parents take some time to look through this website and have conversations with their children about what being a good cyber citizen is and what to do when you have dealings with inappropriate online behaviour.
