1A - Miss Morrison

Maths:

Here you can see Hamish and Levi playing a game of ‘Get out of my House’! It is a great mental maths addition game. Students roll two dice and add them together, placing a counter on that number that represents the total. The aim of the game is to be the first to get rid of your seven counters before your partner. 

Literacy:

We have been learning about adjectives and how they describe things (nouns). Here is Emerson completing the ‘Write the Room’ activity. She had to find the task cards hidden around the room, read the sentence, and write the noun that was in that sentence. This was a heaps of fun! We can’t wait to be adjective detectives again!

1B - Miss Lou

It was very exciting returning to school and hearing about everybody's holiday adventures. 1B did a wonderful writing recount called a 'Holiday Snapshot'.

The letter focus for this week in 1B was 'g, gg'. Below is an example of the activities they completed in their Sound Waves Spelling Books.
