Maths:

We are learning about teen numbers! Students made paper chain teen numbers and explored how all teens have a group of 10 and start with a one. 

Literacy Groups:

Students are learning to use Reading Eggs in Literacy Groups this week. They were very excited to see the iPads out!

FB - Miss Deacon

We had so much fun making our ’teen number chains’ on the first day back at this term! Students worked in pairs and used their fine motor skills to get the job done! We are leaning that a teen number is made from 1 group of ten and extra ones. 

IPADS! We were super excited to use the iPads in our literacy groups this week! We logged into Reading Eggs and had lots of fun! Remember that at home you have this log in to hop on at any time!

This week in Foundation we have been learning all about our Teen Numbers. Here is a picture of our classroom display of our Teen Number Chains. We noticed that each teen number has 10 pink loops and different numbers of yellow loops!

We have also enjoyed gathering and displaying data. Here is Foundation Cs favourite ice cream flavours – Rainbow was very popular!
