This week in Performing Arts:

The 5/6 students are continuing to work hard on their music project this term. At the end of last term we learnt The Recycled Orchestra of Cateura also known as the Recycled Orchestra, which is an orchestra composed of children from Asunción, Paraguay who play musical instruments made from scrap materials collected from Asunción's Cateura landfill. The students have been working hard to create their own recycled instruments that they will use to perform to the class.

The 3/4 students have been learning about rhythm, beat and reading music with a time signature. They have enjoyed performing their own body percussion piece to the grade.
