REGIONAL SWIMMING

We are so proud of Eirene,  Catherine, Milla and Ellie who went to the big city last Monday to swim at MSAC. The girls were so excited to compete in the city in this amazing venue. They swam in a 4 x 50m relay. Each girl swam their heart out and did an amazing job. They finished an impressive 4th in the region. Fantastic effort, girls! A big thank you to their families for driving them into MSAC. I am already excited about our swimming team next year.

DISTRICT ATHLETICS

On Friday, a team of 54 students from Years 3-6 represented St Brendan’s at the Bayside District Athletics. The students competed in track events - 70m, 100m, 200m, 800m, hurdles and relays. Our students were amazing. Each and every one of them tried their best, displaying sportsmanship and a big smile. It was lovely to see them proud of their efforts and supporting each other throughout the day. Thank you to Mrs Smith, Mrs Christensen and Miss Ristrom who accompanied our students and ensured they all got to their events on time. Below is a list of our students who placed, some will compete at the division carnival in September. Congratulations to all of our students who also placed in the 70m events.  Well done to our team.
