CELEBRATING ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE@CSPS

CYC Forest Edge Camp (Yr 5 & 6); 27 - 29th April

When the seniors arrived, we went to a common room where we met one of the instructors whose name was Jimmy. Jimmy told us all of the rules that we needed to follow. We also had 45 minutes when we got there to unpack and get settled in our cabins. But most importantly we had lots of fun doing all of the activities, one of the most fun activities that we did was the water-slide.

We all had 6 meals a day, they were Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Dinner and Desert. We had fun little games we could play that weren't activities such as Basketball, 4 Player Ping Pong and Eds Alley. The activities we did were Riddle Rogain, Archery, Waterslide, Disc Golf, Bushwalk, Hut Building, Low Ropes, Flying Fox, Trampolining and Rock Climbing. On the first night we did a Talent Show with the people we sat with for Dinner.

We all had lots of laughs and funny moments when we did the Talent Show. Mrs. Waiti added some cool and silly challenges. On the second night we played a little game of Spotlight then later watched Moana, which was great.

On the last day of camp, we did our final activities, we then packed up and waited for the bus to arrive and we came back to school around 2:25.
