Years 5/6

Congratulations to our 5/6 class. You made it through the longest time in two years at school without any breaks for remote learning. Well done.
The 5/6 students hope that everyone has a happy, safe and relaxing term break ready!
This term we have done some amazing work/activities and plenty of learnt new things. Here is a quick recap of the highlights from the students:
- Playing dodge ball in sport
- Pyjama Day to raise money to support our Easter raffle prizes
- Ukulele in music
- Learning different sports for Aths day
- Athletics Day because it was a lovely day of sport and being social
- Reader’s theatre scripts
- Learning drama games like ‘You’re fired!’
- Making Tracks
In SOSE this week the 3/6 students had a discussion about what ANZAC Day is, the meaning behind the day and what we can do to pay our respects and honour those involved in World War 1. Students could chose to do some further research and make a poster or create a poppy for our shared wreath that we will lay at our school service at the beginning of next term.
On behalf of the students at Cavendish Primary, we want to say thank you to those that sacrificed their lives to fight for our country.
