Years 3/4

This week we reflected on Term 1, 2022. Here are our reflections. Enjoy!

Last week on Friday we did a x's table test. I did my 7 x tables. This was how much I got: 91/100 and I passed. Two weeks ago we did our first NAPLAN practice test. Three weeks ago the whole school did clean up Australia Day. It was hot but it was fun! By Pippa Quinn

In March we learnt x tables and l passed my two x tables. I have been loving to learn narratives and my favourite was 'Glendenning Danger'. In Science we learnt how to make mould and it went well. By Cooper Leese

On last Monday we did Science and we did discussed mouldy bread. On Tuesday, we went to athletic sports and I was so proud of myself for all the events. On Wednesday we have sports again and we play hunter on sports day at school. On Thursday we did music and it was so fun and at the end we did crisscross apple sauce. On Friday we did SOSE and we got to get some cake. By Gwyn Nettleton

Two weeks ago I did narrative writing. I did a math gird about year 3/4 favourite drink. We did 5 minute Quick on a picture of a dolphin. On Friday a few weeks ago we did PJ day to raise money. We also did a procedural write about how to make a Vegemite sandwich. By Sam Packman

On Tuesday we had athletic sports. I had so much fun in all my events. I didn’t get a ribbon but it doesn’t really matter. I liked the idea of a spelling test every Friday. All together we hade after 8 spelling tests. There were 80 questions after 8 weeks. We had picnic spots. I got some ribbons I’m not sure what in but I’m proud of myself. I’m so happy. This term the 3/4 did lots of time tables and I passed my 3 times. On the 4th of April it was Eli’s and Darcy’s Birthday. In Science I learnt that mould can you grow in your body. I have passed my three times tables. By Indi Keymer-Newley

Term 1, the first day was so exciting and we met a brilliant teacher Miss Thompson. She is so funny and now the last week of Term 1 she is amazing. We learnt on the first week how to do spelling triangles. loved clean up Australia Day. It was fun helping Australia but it was not fun looking at how much rubbish there was. l can’t wait for next term and what our brilliant teacher Miss Thompson comes up with next term. By Emma Thomas

On every Friday we have to do a spelling test. On Tuesday we do art. On last Wednesday we did athletics sports and I placed 2nd in an event. On every single Wednesday we do sports. On every single Monday we do science. On one Friday we did Picnic Sports. By Nate Weilbaecher 

On every Friday this term we did a spelling test but I can’t remember my scores. During week 8 all the grade 3 and grade 5’s did a NAPLAN practice and I’m the only year four in the whole school and I didn’t even have to do it because I did it last year. Last week on Friday we did the athletics carnival at Pedrina Park. I came last in all of the sprints. I think it was week four when we did the Picnic Sports. That’s my favourite thing to do in the first term after the Christmas holidays. This term we had a PJ day it was very fun. Last week we had a welcome breakfast with some of our parents and that was fun too. By Mietta Price 

The first term of this year we get to see a policeman named Paul. He gave us two colouring books for us to colour in and to learn about police. In science, we are learning about mould and making mould too. It was so much fun!  By Ava Huf
