SHUS (Second Hand Uniform Shop)
Your Family & Friends group, (the FAF), is still running a contactless service for the SHUS. Details are below on how to place an order.
We have quite a few school bags in stock, both small and large.
$15 each.
We also have plenty of size 4 and 6 items in stock.
SHUS order process:
Step 1.
Please email smps.faf@outlook.com and advise your order details:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your child's name and class
- The item, size and how many you'd like to order (eg. 2 short sleeve summer shirts size 4, and 1 bomber jacket size 6)
Step 2.
On Wednesdays we will confirm, via email, which items from your order we have in stock. We will also advise how you can pay for, and collect, your order from the SMPS Office.

*Dresses and tunics come in different sizing.
C = Child (Smaller fitting)
G = Girl
W = Woman (more generous fitting)

Uniform donations: If you have Bob Stewart uniform to donate, please remove names/name tags, (or cross them out with texta), and hand the clothing in to the SMPS office. Please ensure items are clean and washed before donating them.
Thank you to everyone who has donated SMPS uniform they no longer need. Our SMPS families greatly appreciate your generous donations!
SMPS Garden Working Bee - Saturday 14 May
🆘 Many hands make light work.
🕰 Please join us for 30-60 minutes, (or longer), on Saturday 14 May, between 9am and 1pm, to help at our garden working bee.
🌾 Our forecourt gardens need a little attention so Reno, our gardener and handyman, is holding a working bee. Parents, carers, aunties, uncles, grandparents and students are all welcome.
🆘 Please click on the button below to register your attendance. When registering, please use the comments section to advise the number of people in your family attending.
🧤 Please bring garden gloves if you have them.
🪴 Plants removed from the gardens can be taken home by anyone who would like them.

Tub of Toys - House points awards
Last year we asked our community for donations to the SMPS 'Tub of Toys': A tub of toys for our SMPS students to play with during their recess breaks. (It'll be up and running soon!)
We received many wonderful things! Thank you to all our generous families for making donations.
As promised, any student who made a donation would be awarded 3 house points! The list of those students is below. Congratulations!

Doug, one of our FAF members, is also one of the administrators on 'SMPS Friends', an informal WhatsApp chat group of 240+ participants. The chat groups members are past, present and prospective parents and carers across all grades at SMPS.
There are also separate 'grade specific' informal WhatsApp chat groups for Preps; Grade 1; Grade 2; Grade 3; Grade 4; and Grade 5/6 for present parents/carers only.
If you have recently joined SMPS, or are a current or prospective parent/carer, and would like to join any of the informal chat groups, please contact Doug via SMS or WhatsApp on 0437 351 194.
‼️ Please note:These informal chat groups are completely independent of SMPS teachers and staff. You should continue to rely on Compass newsfeeds and the SMPS newsletter for SMPS information.
