Music
After a long hard 5 week battle with VCAA and The Department of Education, it was a HUGE relief to get our Year 12 VET Music class back on site on Friday 3rd September to begin the long process of preparing for the Year 12 Practical Music Examination.
Since being back onsite, we have smashed out 3 performances for evidence and have begun putting together the all-important exam worth 50% of the overall mark.
I want to celebrate my AMAZING students – Alisha Blyth, Alli Braxton, Ryu Canlas, Gune Inyasio, Terissa Masoe, Emily Ruzanji, Eva Semaan, Leila Wheatley and Faith Mulu-Jessop.
The level of resilience these young people have demonstrated in trying to maintain their sanity online, when we really needed to be playing our instruments together at school, was nothing short of phenomenal. They are inspirational!
I also want to thank my AWESOME staff – Mark Zerafa and Joe Costa, who have also continued to come on site and support these students.
I know that each of you will join with me in wishing every Blessing for our Year 12 Music Class and the very best of luck to them for their exam on October 11th.
