Your exams will be uploaded at the beginning of your exam and are due 15 minutes after your exam finishes to your subject's learning task - Practice exam on COMPASS.

VCAL last day

Officially our VCAL students will have their last VCAL class on Wednesday 20th of October, it is expected that by this date, all of our year 12 VCAL students will have met all of their outcomes. Many however, are nearing completion and may qualify for early sign off. Sign off is when a VCAL student has met all of their outcomes from all of their subjects, this offering them the opportunity to move into full time work, traineeships and apprenticeship opportunities. Sign off will only take place when a VCAL student has completed and submitted all of their work, for all of their subjects and when their subject teacher has provided judgement to Senior School that that student is indeed competent in these outcomes and has therefore successfully completed the subject. Once the student has met the requirements in all of their subjects, they will meet with Mrs Sant who will facilitate this transition. A sign off letter will be provided to the parents of these students.

Of course, if our VCAL students do need extra time to meet their outcomes, the College will support this and students will have access to help from their subject teachers and the school resources. One on one discussions will take place with all students that this affects.

WEC & BVC VET DATES

What follows are important VET dates. Students are encouraged to seek further clarification from their VET trainers if they indeed feel they need more time to meet their competencies. As has been communicated weekly via compass, all VET courses have been running remotely during all of the stages of lockdown in 2021 at it was and is expected that students would be engaged in and making progress in these courses. It is expected that all students would have met the requirements for their VET course by the following finishing dates:

2nd year VET last class : 11th – 15th October, 2021.

1st year VET: 25th – 29th October, 2021.
