From the Deputy Principal

Kitchen Operations, Production Manufacturing and Auto Courses for 2022

Our proposal is that these courses will run in 2022 and enrolments will are open for both Students and Community members to enrol in these courses.

Student enrolments are managed through the school and members of the community are welcome to call me at the school to find out the process they would need to go through to enrol. We are governed by meeting the minimum number of people enrolled in a course to determine if the course will run. Tafe are the organisation that run our courses and their minimum number requirement is 10 participants enrolled in a course.

If you are interested I encourage you to get in touch with me as soon as possible as the decision about the continuation of the course for 2022 will need to be made before the end of this year and if we don’t have the numbers we need you may miss out.

We currently have students enrolled in both the Production Manufacturing and Auto courses who will not finish their Certificate 2 course until the later part of 2022. Any new students wishing to take up one of these courses must be a Year 11 student by the start of 2022 school year to be eligible.

There are a huge number of other Vet courses that are available and any PHS student who is a Year 11 student can come and see me to find out if there is a course they would be interested in doing on the list of courses that are funded by the government.

You can get in touch with me at PHS on 86512306
