Principal's Report

Dear Families,

Today, Friday 29 November is World Teachers Day. The theme this year is "Bright Future". The teaching staff have been acknowledged and celebrated all week by our wonderful, supportive School Support Officers. Building on the theme of Thanks for giving me a Bright Future, all teaching staff were given a pair of sunglasses! The week of celebrations concluded today with a wonderful shared lunch catered by the SSO's and a chocolate delivery from our local Member of Parliament, Carolyn Powers.

As some of our school community will be celebrating Diwali on November 4th, we have been fortunate to have borrowed some items to create a display in our front office. The students have already commented on how wonderful the display looks.

We wish those families celebrating, a happy Diwali.

Thank you for supporting us by delivering and collecting your children to the gate each day. Due to the low numbers of Covid cases in Adelaide, we are now able to invite you into the school grounds. We remind you that we are still restricting parents and visitor access to buildings. Please deliver your children to the yard and wait for your child to come to you at the end of the day. Please contact class teachers via See Saw or by phoning the school if you need to speak with an individual staff member.

We remind you that checking in with a QR code is expected.

Kind regards,

Terena Pope
