Stage 2 News

During Term 4, Stage 2 students have been exploring the geography of our country. They have been learning about states, territories and other major geographical aspects of Australia. Students have researched some of Australia’s native plants and animals as well as the different types of climate found around our country. They have used mapping skills to locate the countries closest to Australia and have investigated what it might be like to live in other places. Students have also investigated flags, symbols and other emblems of our nation, our states and our territories.
