Assembly Guest Performers
Congratulations to the Girls Vocal Group and African Drumming Group for their performances out our last assembly, Thursday 7 March. It was great to see two of our ensembles collaborating to create an afternoon of multicultural music! Well done!
Telstra Kids Fund Grant & Thank you!
| We have been successful in securing a Telstra Kids Fund grant, and we'd like to acknowledge Telstra team member Sonali Moore who nominated us for this grant! We are very excited to receive this grant which will help us update our ensemble attire. |
Grade 5/6 Cast & Dance Auditions and Crew EOI
We are excited to report that we have received a staggering number of applications for Cast and Dance auditions and expressions of interest for our Crew! Over 100 students applied for Cast, more than 45 are auditioning for Dance Ensemble and 80 plus have applied for Crew! This means a huge two weeks of auditions and decision making! Students will be notified by the end of this week when their audition will be. Please remind your child to check the Sentral Daily Notices regularly for updates.

Just a reminder if you are interested in joining either Junior Choir or Senior Choir, please scan the relevant QR codes displayed on the Performing Arts Notice board. Please read the forms carefully as some ensembles have requirements.
The rehearsal schedule for each ensemble had changed this year and is as follows:
Boys Vocal Group ................. Monday 8:20am-8:50am
African Drumming Group .........Tuesday 8:15am-8:50am
Junior Choir ......................... Wednesday 8:20am-8:50am
Senior Choir ............................ Thursday 8:00am-8:50am
Girls Vocal Group ................... Thursday 1:00am-1:50pm

Our costume team is looking for anyone within the school community who is or has connections to wholesalers in order to update our ensemble uniforms. If you know of anyone who can assist us, please contact Miss Poor via email.
Senior School Production 2019
We have had a great number of parents who have said they are interested in painting, sewing, sourcing props or generally creating, but are still need of some keen people to put their hand up for set construction. We would love to have you on our 2019 production team!
