Principal's Message

From the Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,

Tomorrow morning we look forward to welcoming our parents to our morning assembly at 9:00am. Free tea and coffee will be available to parents in the morning before school and we invite parents to stay on after assembly to catch up and socialise with other parents. This will be a lovely opportunity for parents to reconnect  following our two years of restrictions and limitations.

Cyber Safety for Families

I strongly encourage as many families as possible to register for the upcoming webinar, 'Raising Kids in a Digital World'. Please refer to the Cyber Safety page included in this newsletter regarding registration details.

'Greening' our School - Gardens for Wildlife

Next Tuesday morning we have a representative from Monash Council visiting us to provide advice on planting out new areas around our school. This will include along the fence line of the tennis courts, various spots around the oval to increase shade and a few other smaller areas around the school. We will have our Student Environmental Leaders present, staff from COHR as well as parent representation.

2023 Prep Enrolments

We have commenced accepting enrolments for Prep 2023 from new families.

If you currently have children at COHR and have another child due to commence next year in Prep we would ask that you submit an enrolment form at your earliest convenience. A hard copy can be collected from the office, alternatively a soft copy can be downloaded from our school website.

Condolences

Our prayers and thoughts are with the McNally family on the passing of two family members recently.

Covid Update

The next box of Rapid Antigen Tests for each child for Weeks 7 and 8 can be collected from the office next week. If you would like your child to collect the RAT's we would ask that you make this request through your child's classroom teacher or the school office.

Please continue to enjoy the rest of this fortnight's newsletter which is jam-packed of updates about everything wonderful that is taking place at our amazing school!

Take care, keep safe and enjoy the long weekend everyone
