Backflips Against Bullying
All students from Years 1 to 6 attended a presentation from Backflips Against Bullying last Friday. The performers presented a number of scenarios demonstrating bullying and bad choices. Students were also presented with ways they could respond and seek assistance. The teachers have been covering lessons in class related to the content covered in the presentations.
As always, if your child comes home talking about situations at school they have found challenging please contact your child’s teacher.

Swimming Results
On the 4th March, 28 excited students from Grade 3-6 represented Malvern PS at the District Swimming Carnival at GESAC. We were fortunate to have a sunny day and all the children swam to the best of their ability.
Malvern Primary finished 2nd out of 8 schools in our area, a great achievement.
Swimmers who won their race progressed to the Division Swimming Carnival at Oakleigh Recreation Centre on 21st March.
Malvern PS results were:
9/10 Boys Relay, 1st (Angus J, Bobby Z, Toby T, Albie N)

9/10 Boys Freestyle, 2nd, Angus J
9/10 Boys Butterfly, 3rd, Bobby Z
9/10 Girls Relay, 7th (Grace G, Sunday L, Rosie C, Alexis H)
Winning at the Division level means you are the best of 64 schools! The reward - participating at the Regional Swimming Carnival at MSAC on 28th March.
On the day Bobby came 3rd in his butterfly race. The 9/10 Boys Relay came first, an incredible achievement! They will now compete at the State Championships at MSAC on the 29th April. We all wish them the best of luck.
