Year 9 Science - Surveying and Sampling Our Taylors Lakes

The Year 9 Science Team brings an innovative excursion in 2022 to help tie in our Ecosystems Unit with Deep Learning and the 6 Cs of Education. Over the past few weeks, our students have been surveying and sampling the historic Taylors Creek of its flora, fauna and water in an attempt to make connections with the Creek’s purpose, its evolution and its sustainability. The students were met with a plethora of birds including the white-beaked Eurasian Coot, lots of Purple Swamphens, Ducks and resident Black Swans.
