Twilight Sports 2022

I would like to express my thanks to the whole school community for embracing the opportunity to come together to celebrate and participate in our annual twilight sports event.

I was in awe of the way all of the students shared their joy, spread their happiness and competed at their best. After two weeks of practising sprints, novelty races and long distance runs in P.E sessions, the confidence, growth and zest by all was outstanding. I was an extremely proud teacher watching all the races!

Thank you goes to the amazing staff that shared their energy which contributed to the electric community spirit of the event.

Thank you also goes to all families, that came together and joined in the fun of an unforgettable event.

The sense of community is very strong at MPRPS&K, and to organise an event for you all is an absolute pleasure!

Colour Fun Run 2022

I am very excited to be planning the next event - THE COLOUR FUN RUN. We will be running the fun run on Thursday 7th April from 2:30 - 3:30pm. This event will be a whole school fundraising event, with information and booklets being sent home this week.

The event will be an opportunity to come together as a community again, and will be a fun and colourful way to celebrate the end of Term 1.

I will continue to implement running as part of all year level P.E sessions to prepare students for the day.

Keep being active,

Mrs Treesje Butterworth
