Marine Sanctuary (BEST)

During Term 1, the Year 9 & 10 Marine Sanctuary class have continued to explore Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary. Our snorkelling sessions have allowed us to explore the underwater world and make a connection with the marine organisms we have studied in class.

Students have also participated in a day of reef sampling where they have used quadrates to sample the species on the intertidal reef. The data collected will be used by the students for their PBL which will investigate the populations and distribution of organisms on the reef.
