Interschool Debating

Another amazing effort at debating last week!

Our three teams all put in a huge amount of work, and the results were:

Our C-grade teams both pulled off amazing wins on the topic of parliamentarians holding dual citizenship, with Grace G, Eve D, and Ayesha G taking out a close debate against Sandringham Secondary College by one point, and Isaac R, Lily G and Archie L outclassing Firbank by two points, with Lily as best speaker.

Our D-Grade Team of Viv S, Max G, and Arthur D unfortunately had a narrow loss to a very strong team from Kilbreda on the tricky subject of abolishing the Australian citizenship test.

Well done to all three teams and their support teammates of Chloe M, Georgia G and Niamh K.
