In recognising Close the Gap day, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) students at Peterborough High School made damper and berry quandong jam with wattle seeds for both staff and students.

Students learned about the significance of closing the gap in terms of access to health services, job opportunities, as well as education between ATSI and non-ATSI Australians. This event was also celebrated with Aboriginal music and an exclusive screening of 'Take

Heart: Deadly Heart', courtesy of Australians for Native Title and Reconciliation (ANTaR).
